Phoenix Park Academy seeks to maximise the life chances of all of our young people and so it is crucial to prepare young people for life beyond Academy and college.

Our vision is to provide the support required for each individual’s personalised pathway into post 16. To support learners to obtain experience, awareness and skills that will be an aspiration towards their development. With our high levels of support using external agencies and community links that will help each learner to gain confidence and allow them to thrive within their journey to their preferred destination.
As an academy, we will:
- Inspire & engage our students in planning their own Careers pathway to increase motivation to aim high and understand what benefit their subjects have in the real world of work.
- Engage with employers and organisations to increase real life experiences.
Careers Hub
We are one of 5 North East Lincolnshire members of the Humber Careers Hub, The Careers Hub was launched in September 2018 by the Humber Local Enterprise Partnership (Humber LEP), which is now known as the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership (GLLEP), and the Careers & Enterprise Company, a central government funded organisation that works with schools nationally to promote a network between education and employers as well as support for careers education in schools.
As a Humber Hub school, we regularly meet with other schools in the region to evaluate and share best practice with regard to careers education.

Independent Careers Advice
Careers guidance and support at Phoenix Park is provided by Tracey Booth.
Tracey is level 6 accredited independent and impartial advisor, providing guidance on career exploration, college choices, vocational options, and the skills needed for success within the workforce. Whether it’s assisting with college applications, apprenticeship/job applications, CV building or offering advice on educational pathways, she will use his expertise and local knowledge to allow young people to find the best outcome for themselves, whatever that may be.
